Each piece is constructed of hard-anodized aluminum, a non-reactive material stronger than stainless steel that cooks without hotspots, and which is finished inside and out with a nonstick finish. This provides not only quick release of foods but easy cleanup. Look for the raised concentric circles inside a Circulon pan: this is its famous Hi-Low technology. The raised circles take the abuse of utensils, leaving the low areas untouched. Thus, the nonstick finish lasts much longer than that on many other brands.

Nice heavy, well made set with stainless steel lids that I was looking for. If you like non-stick cookware, you should be pleased. The handles are also oven safe up to 350F.

I purchased this set from Amazon at an incredible price. The set contains all the basic pieces for the home kitchen. I have found the pots and pans to be well made as well as easy to clean. The only reason I gave it only four stars was due to the fact that it has stainless steel lids and not glass. I really wanted glass lids but I couldn't find a similar set in the same price range as the Circulon. I am very satisfied with my new cookware.
